This presentation provides guidance on how state-of-the-art (SOTA) fit into the clinical evaluation reports (CER). The presenter’s objectives are to help you comprehend the parts of SOTA and why they are important, and to provide product specific SOTA examples. The video reviews regulations related to CERs and why they are important as well as search  methodologies and justifications. An example of a specific device, peripherally inserted central catheter (PICC) is reviewed for the state of the art on this device.
